Ten volumes, published between 1787-1791 - Volume One - iv, [6], iv, 160pp, [4], 63pp, [1]; Volume Two - [4], 246pp; Volume Three - [4], 168pp; Volume Four - [4], 188pp, [2]; Volume Five - [4], 195pp, [1]; Volume Six - [4], 214pp; Volume Seven - [4], 114pp, [2]; Volume Eight - [4], 172pp; Volume Nine - (Scotland) - xxiii, [1], 170pp, *173-*176 and Volume Ten - 171-308pp. Uniform later half-morocco and marbled paper over boards, raised bands, spines in six panels, morocco title label to second panel, author and volume label to third, remaining panels with central gilt flower, with eight smaller flowers surrounding and joined by curved lines, marbled endpapers. Externally, the corners are bumped, extremities slightly rubbed. Internally lightly browned and foxed throughout, occasionally heavy, with some off setting, with some colour bleed through to verso of maps. Each volume with an engraved frontispiece and an engraved title, two folding hand coloured in outline maps (map of England torn along folds) and fifty-four hand coloured county maps, with a total of seven hundred and ninety (six folding) engravings. Reprint. Half Morocco and Boards. Good. 4to.
