About this book: Translated from the German by Edward Pfeiffer. The Anti-Calvinist movement began by the Church of England and the Lutheran's as a repudiation of the teachings by Calvin which spread throughout Europe and the America's in the late 16th and 17th century's. The Calvinistic viewpoints directly relate to the Baptist's belief that everything is preordained and that all sin is forgiven through Christ's blood and sacrifice. The different movements almost caused a war between the Countries at the time. Each chapter is divided into the following segments: The Question Stated; The Doctrine Proved; The Objections Refuted; and Comfort of the Doctrine. The Chapters are as follows: I.
