There is a former owner's small b/w name and address sticker on the top corner of the front free endpaper, otherwise there are NO Inscriptions or other Marks. (10) + 294pp. Illustrated with b/w prints, photographs and maps. Two Appendices; Notes; Select Bibliography; Index. Overall, this is an Excellent, Clean, Tight and Bright , 'Fine' copy. "This investigative study of this enthralling passage of history sheds new light on the controversial strategies, directives, opinions and reports which permeated every element of the campaign, and, as such , adds significantly to literature on the subject." ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
