The covers are bumped & rubbed with some light staining & with a score mark to the rear cover. There are a few small stains to the spine. xviii & 586 pages. The book is cracked at the frontispiece. The edges of the endpapers & prelims are darkened. There is an owner's name & date on the front endpaper. Color frontispiece & black- and-white illustrations. Good. <p>Later printing.
