Six chapters on early bookmaking including discussions of 12 early types of book material, writing on vellum, paper and libraries.
Prior owner's bookplate, spine unevenly darkened else a fine and tight copy in a plain, heavy, nearly fine dust wrapper with some slight chipping to top spine and one small wrinkle. Original slipcase split along top front, top spine, and 4" on side spine.
