Publisher applied red stain to the top edge. Illustrated end papers (Same for front and rear). Tipped-on color frontis, every other page with a full page black/white image, every other page with a smaller black/white image. Format of the book is to have a page of text facing an illustration matching the text. Book of satiric humor using anthropomorphic cats to illustrate various human foibles. Unpaginated (128 pp.) Color frontispiece and illustrated throughout with satirical line drawings by the author. Near fine, touch of fade to the spine ends, light foxing to the endpapers, cat-related bookplate front pastedown. In the very scarce original dust jacket, price cipped and tattered and chipping significantly about the edges. Charming and funny collection of witty and satirical drawings featuring anthopromorphized cats at home, on the tennis court, on the golf course, at the movies, in school, on the vaudeville stage, etc.

Below the inscription, the author/illustrator has drawn three cats dressed in evening wear, captioning below, " 'Tom, I've seen Grant's Tomb, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Niger [sic] Clubs and the Woolworth Building, but if we go back to Marquette without a glimpse of Fran Rusel [sic]. I'll never hold up my head again!'
