Hardcover without dust jacket, 365 pages including chapter heading drawings and full page illustrations;---brown leather covers with gilt lettering and decoration to both covers and spine, gilt lettering and raised bands on spine, gilt to all edges, brown silk ribbon page marker sewn in;---very gently read, if at all, tight in binding, but there are noticeable scratches to the fore and bottom edges and the spine is faded, ink scrawl marks on "Other books by Gerald Green" page, book otherwise very clean and unmarked..
