About This Item

New York: William Morrow, 1987. This Stated First Edition (and if it isn't stated, it's not) is in Fine condition with a close to Fine unclipped dust jacket (click on photo). Additionally, it has the required "number line" for First Printing, starting with a "1". This definitive work on spooks who spied on the former Soviet Union makes for a compelling look at U.S. intelligence organizations, such as the C.I.A., and how they work. The book includes photos. The book has a small address sticker of the former owner on the front free endpaper. It is bound in cream-colored boards with black spine cloth and die-stamped silver spine lettering. The dust jacket has several tiny tears and rubbing at the spine tip bottom. I've placed it into a Brodart protective sleeve. The book measures 6 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches and includes 383 pages. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
