Quarter calf with gilt lettering and compartments and marbled paper over boards. iv, 799pp. Tissue-guarded frontispiece, several map, 3 tissue-guarded plates (2 steel-engraved portraits), numerous small engravings. Very good. Some edgewear, rubbing and scuffing calf, mainly at head/tail of darkened spine; some age toning and mild wear to endpapers, else tight and internally near fine. First edition, tight and nice, of the seventh volume of this annual compilation of just about everything -- internally tight and bright and near fine. Text in two-column format. Discreet ex-library, with very few markings.
