London : Hodder & Stoughton Ltd. 5th or later Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Two books both Hodder & Stoughton Yellow Jackets. Quatermain is 1931 2/- edition. She is 1949 3/6 edition. Both hardback books are tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with light toning to edges, and slightly dusty top edges. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feel lightly read. Minor bumps to head and foot of spines. Previous booksellers pencil prices to FEP. She has previous owners name to front pastedown. Quatermain is starting at half title page. Very good condition. Jackets are presentable and look very good in the fitted archival covers on the shelf. She has a 25mm closed tear with creasing to top edge of front panel, small rubs to corners, 10mm split to rear joint, and a few very small chips to spine ends. Quatermain has old tape repair to front joint, 6mm split to rear joint, and a few very small chips to spine ends. Jackets grade as very good. These books are fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protectors to make a worthy additions to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the books pictured are the books described. A couple of nice vintage H&S yellow jacket books offered as a pair, perhaps Haggard's best known titles.
