New York: Vantage Press, 1968. First edition. 8vo; green boards with gilt spine, pp. 9-152, photographs, dust jacket. A nostalgic memoir of growing up above a train depot in Kansas where the author's father was "a freight and express handler, a telegrapher, a ticket seller, custodian of the depot, expediter of mail, filer of damage claims, yardman," etc. Book is Fine, excepting the slightest wear to the crown. Unclipped dust jacket is rubbed with some tape residue to front panel; crease to flap; one tiny closed tear to top of rear panel. Still Very Good.
