A collection of 10 4 sided sheets, showing design suggestions for using 18 Nebiolo typefaces, the majority of which were designed by Aldo Novarese and Alessandro Butti, jointly and individually. Designs by Novarese, contained in a card folder, and originally issued as an insert in the magazine La Rivista Linea Grafica. Undated, mid 1960s?. Pubblicazione uscita come allegato alla rivista "Graphicus" in cui Novarese proponeva un sistema di classificazione degli stili dei caratteri da stampa. La teoria si basava sull'analisi del tratto terminale del carattere, il piede, ma anche sul valore estetico e sui riferimenti storici associati al carattere. Novarese elencava quindi dieci tipologie di caratteri tipografici: lapidari, scritti, medievali, ornati, veneziani, egiziani, transizionali, lineari, bodoniani e fantasie. A ciascuna delle dieci tipologie erano ascrivibili, quindi, alcuni tipi di caratteri.
