This book comes with a card from the Lakeside Press "With the Compliments of the Season" and the signature (or facsimile) of Ralph M. Roseher. This card presumably was enclosed with the book when sent to its original owner. 373 pages, top edge is gilded, no bookplates or owner names or stamps. The covers of the volume are red, maroon or burgundy, take your choice. The frontispiece is tissue guarded with no tears in the tissue, the fold out map is in fine shape, a bit darker in color than the book pages. There is light wear at the head and tail of the spine and the top outer corner has a light bump, other corners show light wear. All in all, a quite presentable and serviceable copy; available for immediate shipment; carefully packed in a sturdy box.
