Age-toning to edges, two short tears (less than 1/2 inch) at top edge of front cover. Sun toning to rear cover. An established poet, Nielsen's bread-and-butter was teaching English at Utah State University. A four-page program brochure for Nielsen's lecture is laid in. Scarce.

Research was done by the Pennsylvania WPA Art Project, under the auspices of The National Gallery of Art. The prints are housed in a cloth backed printed burnt orange and white folder. A four-page insert with text by Benjamin Knotts precedes the plates. Plates and folder measure 36 x 28 cm. ; The Index of American Design; Folio 13" - 23" tall .
