New York: Parnassus, 30 East 12th Street, 1928. Booklet in wrappers, sewn on cord (18 x 12 cm.), 2 pages (on double leaves). Illustrated with linoleum cuts. FIRST EDITION. An ode to human-caused extinction. Lise Fulda (1895-1967) was a painter of diorama for the Museum of Natural History, and a Greenwich Village figure known to host salons and soirees. The booklet was printed by Lew Ney's Parnassus Press. Ney was another Greenwich Village denizen, and a printer of so many other bohemian characters. Internally bound and clean; in orange wrapper, printed, and illustrated in black. Rear wrapper panel lacking; front panel present, but stained and chipped. Inscribed by the author, "To Dr. Murphy, with the compliments of, the author." [OCLC locates four copies].
