Published to mark the 50th anniversary of The Marine Historical Society of Detroit, looks at the ships and fleets that have come and gone in the years between 1969 and 1994: "in 1969, approximately 46 US and Canadian fleets existed on the Lakes, whereas by 1994 only 25 were still operating. Therefore we bid farewell to some of the fleets that have vanished."
