Red cloth with gold lettering on spine. Surprsingly well preserved. Author was the editor of Partisan Review, wrote for Time Magazine, did Movie reviews for Esquire and later the Today Show. In this book he writes about Twain, Joyce, Agee, Hemingway, Cozzens and Colin Wilson. He is an original thinker. Price intact jacket is a nice one. In mylar. . First American Edition. Hardccover.
