First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Two matching volumes in brown leather with simple gilt decoration and gilt lettering on banded spines. Spines are a little dulled and lightly rubbed on the bands. Marbled end-papers with leather frames with gilt decoration on inside covers. Sound binding. Includes all 32 required plates including frontis plates to each volume and fold-out plan. Pages, end-papers and plates are clean except that pages adjacent to plates are foxed although loose tissue leaves are present.
