Teaberry-Ticklebeard is the King of the Pixies and he, along with Chicle, Tickle, Nickle, Dixie, Rixie and Nixie, take the little boy on a guided tour of how they produce Clark chewing gum in Teaberry Town. Illustrated in typical 40's style in bright full colors by Ben Jorj Harris. LAID IN IS AN INTERESTING LETTER FROM THE PUBLISHER explaining "This book was prepared.. before the paper shortage became acute and we subsequently stopped production on it so that we only have a limited supply now." Great copy.
