Collects period accounts from newspapers, etc. (e.g. the Pressburger Zeitung); includes material on riots, imperial manifestos, and accounts by soldiers, as well as information on major figures such as Bem, Kossuth, and Gorgey. Period binding, marbled boards, calf spine with raised bands and corners, red label, gilt spine titling. Quite scarce.; 5 x 7.5"; viii, 340 pp; Rubbing to joints and edges, title page partly detached, library spine label (Municipal Police Library), stamp on front pastedown, and in ink on title page. .

U.S. BUYERS. Standard -- Most orders can be shipped by USPS Media Mail within the continental U.S. for the standard charge regardless of weight. Expedited -- Items which fit in the Flat Rate Envelope (about 6" x 9") can usually be sent by Priority Mail for $10.00; in that case we will automatically reduce the shipping charge for an expedited order when the order is processed. Items which fit in one of the Medium Flat Rate Boxes can ship for the standard expedited charge, regardless of weight.
