Jedlicka Ludwig Franz Jedlicka (1916-1977), war ein österreichischer Historiker. Er war Ordinarius an der Universität Wien sowie Mitbegründer des Dokumentationsarchivs des österreichischen Widerstandes (DÖW) und des Instituts für Zeitgeschichte. Jedlicka gilt als Begründer der wissenschaftlichen Zeitgeschichtsforschung in Österreich. Er trat 1930 in die Hitlerjugend (HJ) ein. 1935 und nochmals 1938 wurde er als 'Illegaler' in die NSDAP aufgenommen, die zu dieser Zeit in Österreich verboten war. Er war auch Pressereferent der illegalen HJ-Presse, 1936 vorübergehend im Nachrichtendienst der NSDAP. Jedlicka war einer der Rädelsführer der Hitlerjugend am 8. Oktober 1938 beim Sturm auf das Erzbischöfliche Palais in Wien.
