Softening and rubbing of the backstrip edges; bumping, rubbing and some fraying of the book corners. Rubbing and marking of the book panels with tanning and foxing of the text block edges. Age toning, foxing and handling marks of the pages. Offset tanning and foxing of the end pages and previous owners name to the top left-hand corner of the front paste-down.
