Interesting write-up on page 45 of Sergeant Ralph J. Fletcher, who inscribed this book, and his "Volunteer" tractor crews who Srearheaded the Guadalcanal Landings. This is a solid and square book with a clean & bright cover. There is just a touch of sunning and a very light bumping to the very bottom edge, otherwise a very nice book. The gilt spine lettering is very sharp. The pages are tight, bright and unmarked. There is some great photos in this book. The jacket, with price, has some top spine end tear and wear and a light top edge wrinkle. It is bright and clean. 256 pages including index.. Signed by Author. Presumed First Edition.. Hardcover. Very Good+/Good.
