London: Obadiah Blagrave, 1685. Fifth Edition. Very Good. Pp. 15 leaves, 461, [10] p. + [9] p. publisher's ads. Engraved in-text illustrations, restored frontispiece, two double page woodcut plates are supplied in facsimile and bound in correct placement. In contemporary full calf leather, with recent morocco spine (titled "The Accomplish Cook" on spine in gilt), with raised bands. New end papers. Pages show age spots, worm holes, soiling, creases and age-related wear, but remain legible. Date on title page is mostly worn, but still discernible, and is penciled below. An extremely scarce and historically important work of cookery.
