Title continues "EXHIBITING, IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER: A COMPENDIOUS ACCOUNT OF STATES, PROVINCES, COUNTIES, CITIES, RIVERS, BAYS, HARBOURS. ON THE AMERICAN CONTINENT, AND ITS APPENDANT ISLANDS; PARTICULARLY THE WEST INDIES" Rebacked with brown leather spine over original label and dark brown leather boards. Frontispiece Is a fold-out map of North America. Map has a tissue mended tear along a fold. Text is intact & solid, but age toned with a few flecks of foxing. Light scuffing on edges. P-279 has 1/2" x1/2" piece missing from front edge. Small dampstain on last 5 leaves. Original owners signatures. Americana. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 388 pages .
