A tight and nice first edition of this unusual compilation that knows no bounds, with contributors including James G. Randall, Ida Tarbell, Carl Sandburg, Albert Beveridge, Robert Sherwood, Benjamin Thomas and a "Who's Who" cast of Lincoln writers both fiction and nonfiction. Among them is Edwin Markham, whose "Lincoln, the Man of the People" is found in this anthology.
