Vanguard Press, 1938. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. A very good first edition first issue (with hats correct on endpapers) in a good first issue dust jacket (correct prices on flaps), with some separations at the spine of the jacket. This is the copy that was used by Helen Younger for her Seuss First Edition Guide, and was purchased by us at the Waverly Auction where she and her partner sold the books they used for the Guide. Comes with the numbered bookmark from Waverly. Housed in a custom-made collector's clamshell case with a leather label on the spine lettered in gilt.
