No dust jacket issued with the reprint. 202 p. w/ many b&w illus., maps, division staff and unit commanders. The 25th ID "Lightning" was first deployed to Guadalcanal and helped finish the campaign, then moved on to the New Georgia islands. After a refit, the unit was landed at Luzon in the Philippines. They entered garrison duty at Nagoya in October 1945 till the Korean War.
