About the author

Inside Lacrosse Magazine was founded in 1997 by Robert Carpenter. As the publication grew over the years, the choicest photography and story ideas that rolled through the offices would be filed away. Year after year, this special collection of material began to bulge and eventually became the backbone of LACROSSE, North America's Game. This book is a culmination of eight years of publishing. This book is meant to paint a picture of lacrosse through photograph and written word. In many ways, it signifies the magazine's history and the evolution that has landed the magazine where it is today. But in many other ways it signifies the future, and where the magazine is headed as they continue to cover this sport that is so dynamic and truly unique.
