Description:
San Francisco: Bedford Arts, 1991. First U.S. edition. Softcover. A paperback original. Originally published in Japan in 1986. Introductory note by David Travis and with an afterword by Akira Hasegawa. A haunting collection of black and white photographs, many of which were taken from a train window as Fukase went to visit his childhood home after his divorce. The images of ravens mirror his despair. A very near fine in French wrappers with minor wear. A lovely copy of this surprisingly uncommon book.
