Tells story of when a traveller first comes to this place out of time. This story describes Alaska as Skip Scott saw it for the first time, in 1970. He befriended Eskimos, or Innuit, saw McKinley - tallest peak of the North American continent, and traveled to frozen isles across the frigid waters. When he visited, the United States had owned Alaska for just over 100 years. This is a short time, when we think of the long life of European counties. Includes beautiful photo section and glossary. Folksy testament to a more natural time. Insured post.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good.…
