Two small, neat margin notes in vol. 1 relating to the name of Nathaniel Coffin. Otherwise, very good, relatively clean, 2 volume set.

Edition of 444 copies, this is one of 25 copies numbered in Roman numerals, this copy being number II, signed by Rolf Sackenheim on the colophon. Also included is a larger etching, not issued with this publication, it is b/w, signed and dated '56.

Cloth of spine and extremities fading slightly, some dust soiling to top, light foxing to last quarter of outside edge. Dust jacket overall badly dust soiled, worn at head and heel of spine and corners with a few mm of paper loss at those points, 1 cm tear to top edge of rear panel, top edge of front panel near spine, 2 cm tear to bottom edge of front panel near spine a few smaller nicks and creases at edges.
