Wear to the joints on v.2, front joint is cracked down to the first compartment, otherwise are tender, covers are lightly rubbed with scattered dark blemishes and minor wear to the gilt edges, top corners on both volumes are slightly chipped and bumped. This is an exceptionally maintained Book published in 1904. It is a Biography of William II, the Emperor of Germany. The Author, Marguerite Cunliffe-Owens, remained anonymous and did not include her name anywhere on this Book as she had done with several of her other Books. This Book has 282 pages and 16 illustrations. This Book also includes a signature by Emperor William dated 1903 under his photo in the frontispiece.

This Book, written by early 20th Century Author, Credo Harris, is one of the first published about world War I. This Book is in Very Good condition for one that is now over 100 years old and would be a great Book for your shelf. The illustrated front cover and the illustration in the frontispiece say a lot about the subject of the Book.
