First Edition, Offprint Issue of Libman and Sacks's first paper on Libman-Sacks endocarditis, a form of nonbacterial endocarditis that is one of the most common cardiac symptoms of lupus. The following year Libman and Sacks published an expanded account of the disease (largely based on the present paper) in Archives of Internal Medicine (see Garrison-Morton 2855).
