Bound into recent patterned cloth titled in gilt and new endleaves and blanks, lacking the half-title (if issued), and textblock likely trimmed a bit but still with healthy margins. Small owner label on front pastedown and contemporary owner name ("Joseph Alward") penciled on title page. Binding gilt rubbed, foxing on several plates and tissue guards, as well as the title page, small remnant of a newspaper article laid down onto blank final page with a bit of bleed-through, trifle musty, very good. The interior is otherwise quite bright.
