Thick 8vo 8½'' x 6¼''. Contains [viii] 738 printed pages of text with 20 single-sided colour plates and 21 pen and ink drawings. Minor damp stain to the top of the lower cover, contents not affected. Very Good condition book in extremely scarce Good condition dust wrapper with soiling of the white paper to the lower cover, small chip to the top of the front gutter, spine text and illustration not faded. Dust wrapper supplied in archive acetate film protection, this preserves and prolongs the life of the paper, it is not adhered to the book or to the dust wrapper.
