Clean pages with mild tanning and heavy foxing to endpapers. Tightly bound with faint thumb-marking throughout. Moderate water stains to p.18-9. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Mild sunning to spine, which has mild crushing and wear to ends. Mild scratching and marking to boards. Mild water stains and droplets to boards. Books has a backward lean. Boards are mildly warped.

Poets include Edmund Spenser, Anthony Munday, Sir Philip Sidney, Henry Constable, Christopher Marlowe andWilliam Shakespeare. Condition: In a full calf binding with gilt stamping to board edges and spine. Externally, generally smart with spots to boards and rubbing to the spine, heavier to the head and tail. Prior owner's signature to recto of front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned to edges and clean throughout. Overall: VERY GOOD..
