Green cloth bound boards with gilt titling and gilt decoration/county arms to front board and gilt titling and decoration to spine. The Extremities are rubbed and the top rear corner lacks some of the cloth, o/w a tight clean copy. Outer hinges tight. Top edge Gilt. Plain brown endpapers, with a previous owner's name written on the ffep - difficult to see. The Arms of Carmarthen opposite to the title page with a tissue guard (with a little light foxing) between this and the title page. (viii) + 219 pp. Black and white illustrations. 4 maps - Lacks the Original double-fold County Map - but this has been replaced with a full colour facsimile photocopy taken from another copy of this book. In the ORIGINAL Dark Green cloth bound boards with gilt titling and gilt decoration/heraldic vignette to front board and gilt titling and decoration to spine. The Original spine has been very neatly and professionally RELAID on identical coloured cloth - very difficult to see unless you look closely. All extremities are SLIGHTLY rubbed/bumped, with a little marking o/w a tight and generally clean copy. ALL hinges tight. Top edge Gilt. A previous owners' small gilt name/address sticker on the front free e/p. Plain brown endpapers. Page fore-edges tanning slightly and a little irregular.
